戏炬奖又来了
一年一度的戏炬奖颁奖典礼又近在眼前。明年的1月27日戏炬奖即将举行第六次的颁奖典礼。从这一次开始戏炬奖将会列为隆雪戏剧互动空间（ASLI）的常年活动。ASLI身为一个社团，相信会让戏炬奖办得更具备公正和公认。展现剧场精神的无私及团队。

续办六年，从新出发
6年来，戏炬奖为剧场带来了新氛围。从以前各剧团单纯的为戏剧创作而制作演出，变成附加了参赛的兴奋。各队伍演出结束后还得期待隔年头的颁奖典礼。那种心情高昂、期待获得加分肯定和认同的守候，让大家对戏剧的感情更深更爱。
今年，更是值得期盼的一届。经由黄菲立（戏炬奖制作人）的精心包装。在加上典礼地点设在具有代表性的吉隆坡演艺中心KLPAC。而且再次获得施恩爱基金会的持续支持（2006－2008）以及还有其他单位的各项赞助，更让此次颁奖典礼辉煌无极。

振兴待发
比赛对于艺术有正面也有负面的影响，一部戏好不好很难断章取义。但是戏炬奖的成立，主要还是鼓励和表扬从事剧场工作的朋友不拘名利奉献和无私付出。为了本土的戏剧艺术，他们不曾退缩和离弃。也是为了理想和原则，他们坚持到底。

我们可以从历届的得奖者做为榜样。凡是剧场有求，他们总会挺身而出，在剧场中担任任何角色，任劳任怨。庆幸的是，某些特殊剧场明星，还被聘请跨界参与电视演出或主持。

衷心感激，凭舞台交棒了。
6年来我们交出的成绩也许还不是大家期望的.不过我们若是能持续获得大家的支持。我相信戏炬奖在ASLI 和黄菲立的计划下总会交上漂亮的成绩单。
感谢历任评审、参赛队伍、赞助单位们；尤其是施恩爱基金会的现金捐资、剧场前辈以及全体剧场界的朋友们。谢谢。凭舞台交棒给ASLI了。
戏炬奖持续加油，剧团们加把劲、赞助商们多支持。让戏炬奖源远流长。

Title:
Tan Seok Chin, Amelia (Singapore) / 陈淑真 (新加坡)
An active player in the Malaysian theatre scene, Amelia study at TTRP(s’pore) with the intention of strengthening her understanding of multicultural practices and their application to contemporary theatre. She earned her Diploma in Drama from Malaysia Institute of Arts in 1996 and went on to teach acting and dance to various schools and in drama camps for youth. In 2001, Amelia co-founded Tea Theatre specializing in educational theatre productions and basic theatre training for people of all ages.

在来新之前，淑真是马来西亚剧场的中坚分子。为了加强自己对多元文化的理解以及如何将其元素运用在当代剧场，淑真报读了 “剧场训练与研究课程”（新加坡）。这之前，已于1996年获得马来西亚艺术学院颁发的戏剧文凭。随后到各学校及戏剧营教学，将表演和舞蹈介绍给青少年。在2001年与几个志同道合的伙伴成立Tea 剧场，专门制作教育剧场并为各年龄层的人士提供基本的表演训练。

Hung Chit Wah, Felix (Hong Kong) / 洪节华 (香港)
Chit Wah, affectionately known as Felix, graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), School of Drama in 1998, where she received her Professional Diploma in Performing Arts (Drama). After her graduation, Felix stayed on in Hong Kong, working directly with primary and secondary schools to bring drama to the youths and their community. Felix’s thirst to pursue a career in acting led to her successful application for the Hong Kong Theatre Association’s – Hong Kong Drama Scholarship, which enabled her to attend TTRP in 2003. Felix has acted in over 42 plays in both Hong Kong and Japan.

节华，于1998年毕业自香港演艺学院戏剧学院，主修表演并获得专业文凭。之后以自由戏剧工作者的身份与不同剧团合作，也经常到中小学演出与教学，将戏剧介绍给青少年。在成功获得香港戏剧协会的香港戏剧奖学金，得以在2003年到TTRP 继续深造。 曾参与超过 42 出舞台剧的演出，演出地点包括香港与日本。

Synopsis
She lived in a beautiful music box. She is surrounded by wonderful music, beautiful dresses, and the admiration of many. She loves her life.
One day she discovers a world outside her own that appears to be very exciting, and so she decides to leave. But she also finds out that the journey of exploration is not an easy path.
Should she stay and be satisfied in her safe beautiful music box or should she venture forth into the promise of the unknown?

故事简介
她生活在一个美丽的音乐盒里,
她拥有美丽的音乐和漂亮的衣服,
还有别人欣赏她的眼光,
她活得非常满足.

但是,
有一天外面的世界好像很精彩,
于是她决定去看一看,

可是,
发现要离开不是容易的事.

到底她应该回去美丽的音乐盒还是去外面的花花世界?




Title: Beyond the Horizon (Work-in-Progress)
Wong Oi Min (Japan)／ 黄愛明 （日本）
PhD in Art, Actor, Director. She graduated from Malaysian Institute of Art, Drama Department in 1991 and was a visiting student at the National Arts School of Taiwan in the same year. She taught in high school drama club and children’s theatre. She moved her base to Japan from 1994 to 2006. She obtained a doctorate in art in March of 2006, at the Nihon University, Graduate School of Art.

Her main credits were: "Love" (monodrama/1996), "Tokyo New World (I)”/1997, "Tokyo New World (II)"/1998, "The Asian Ghosts" (shadow puppet tour production for kids/1996--2000), "HOME"(2001), "Everyman"(2002), “The 7 Banquet”(reading/2004), "To soothe the 7 spirits" (2006).

She has been invited to The 8th International Theatre Oppressed Festival (Toronto/1997), The Mexico Streets Theatre Festival (El Teatro Callejero en el Fin de Milenio, Mexico City/1999), The Japan Street Theatre Festival (Tokyo/ 2001), The Physical Theatre Festival at Store House (Tokyo/ 2001), The 2nd International Stage-Reading Festival (Taiwan/2004).

She is an executive committee member of the “Physical Theater Festival at Store House” and the “International Theatre Exchange Seminar Program” of the Japan Directors’ Association. She upholds her belief in “multicultural coexistence and boundary-crossing" in her work.



Synopsis

A woman was excited to explore in an unknown land. However, she is tagged as an alien. Innumerable invisible borderlines surround her.
She realized that this land is brimming over with the strength of silence. People lock themselves up in their intimate shelters. Their emotions have nowhere to bump against one another. Sometimes she became one of them. The strength of silence is likely that it will blow up anytime.
Sirens blow out here and there. People are either paralyzed or dragged into the shrieks of pain.
From time to time, she meets up with people ... who their stories have never been told. They shared their stories and circumstances ... Eventually she realized that why she was brought to this unknown land...

故事简介
一名女孩向往到一块未知的国度里探索。不过，当她被标签为一个外来人时。 有意无意的遭遇到无明歧视和恶意相待。
她意识到这块土地正面临寂静的力量侵袭。 人们在他们的亲密的避难所内把自己锁起来。 他们的自我封闭，不让情感曝露自己的不安。 不知不觉中她也被他们感染成一分子。寂静的力量不断延生和侵袭。
在这里警笛声处处可闻。 人们已对外间的不安处于万般冷漠、甚至麻痹或者痛苦的尖叫声已沙哑。
在漫长的搜索中，她碰上遭遇命运相似的人们，奉告着无奈的故事。始终明白了她为什么被带来到这块未知的土地，经历一段时间的洗涤。。。
